1. Introduction
Welcome to GlobalGIS. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) network services, including our website, software applications, and RTK/PPK correction data services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of that organization.
2. Definitions
"Services" refers to the GNSS correction data, web portal, API access, and technical support provided by GlobalGIS.
"User" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Services.
"Account" refers to the user account created to access the Services.
3. Service Agreement
GlobalGIS provides centimeter-level positioning accuracy through our network of reference stations. We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Satellite signal obstruction or interference
- Internet connectivity issues on the user's end
- Acts of nature (force majeure)
- Scheduled maintenance periods
4. User Obligations
Users agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with third parties.
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from our software.
- Use the Services to infringe upon the rights of others.
- Resell correction data without explicit written permission.
5. Payment Terms
Subscription fees are billed on a pre-paid basis. Access to the CORS network is granted immediately upon successful payment. All fees are stated in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise specified.
Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the service, refunds are generally not provided once the service has been activated. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for technical failures attributable to GlobalGIS infrastructure. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.
6. Limitation of Liability
GlobalGIS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Services. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Survey Accuracy Disclaimer: While our CORS network provides high-precision data, final survey accuracy depends on user equipment calibration, field conditions, and proper methodology. GlobalGIS is not liable for damages arising from survey errors.
